Definition Help when money gets scarce because of unforeseen changed circumstances - such as a serious illness in your family. How we have helpedWe helped Mr H Mr. H, a postman, has been on long-term sick absence after having been diagnosed with cancer and is now on half pay. He underwent hospital treatment and is now recovering well at home. As well as the emotional affect this has had on his family the drop in income has meant that he has fallen behind with some of his regular bills. We were able to help with some of the immediate debts, which relieved some of the additional stress during this difficult time. We helped Mr Dixon Mr Dixon was in need of a little help with his mortgage after his wife was suddenly medically retired. Due to the delay in his mortgage protection policy kicking in Mr Dixon turned to the Rowland Hill Fund to help as they were struggling to keep up payments on one wage. We were able to help them during this period. Applying for HelpIf you are in need of financial support and think you may be eligible for assistance, it's very easy to apply to the Fund for help.
