Celebrating a Generous Donation from the CSIS Charity Fund

In September, the Executive Head, Grace Owen, attended the Civil Service Insurance Society (CSIS) Charity Fund Trustee Meeting, to share more about the RHF’s work.

The Fund has been fortunate to receive funding from the CSIS Charity Fund in previous years. We were delighted to learn that they have once again chosen to support our work with a generous donation of £15,000.

This support will help us continue providing vital financial assistance and practical support to members of the postal community facing hardship. At a time when many individuals and families are experiencing increasing financial pressures, this support enables us to be there when help is needed most.

The CSIS Charity Fund supports civil and public servants and their families through periods of hardship. Through its grant-making programme, the Charity Fund works with organisations that provide advice, financial assistance and practical support to people facing difficult circumstances. Over the years they have distributed millions of pounds in grants to charities supporting those who have dedicated their careers to public service.

Debbie Terry, Chair of the Trustee Board of the CSIS Charity Fund, said:

"We're so pleased to be able to continue to give financial support to the Rowland Hill Fund. The work they do to assist current and former GPO people experiencing hardship is essential. We're proud to have worked with them for many years and hope our relationship will continue long into the future”
